Birthday Week

Lucy and me only 4 years ago. Here is Lucy today....



It started with a family dinner on Sunday, cupcakes at school on Monday with a Brick Oven dinner that night, a "Happy Birthday" dance class on Tuesday and then a birthday party with 16 of her friends today. Lucy has done nothing but talk about her birthday for the past month and has prayed every day that she would have a fun birthday. Her prayers were answered.

Our sweet six-year-old is smart, funny, affectionate and a total perfectionist. She's a born leader, independent and helpful. She has grown up a lot in the past year. (She asked me once if she could shave her legs and another time if she could wear a bra--We're not ready for her to grow up that fast!) Lucy enjoys being creative and can be found drawing, coloring, cutting and pasting almost every day. She loves to write notes, which we often find under our pillows. She would never dream of enjoying something unless her older brother and younger sister are there to enjoy it too. We love you, Lucy! Happy Birthday!
